CARPET CALL OFFICE / WAREHOUSE
“CALL CALL CARPET CALL THE EXPERTS IN THE TRADE” Carpet Call is the largest 100% owned flooring company in Australia, and from their humble beginning in Brisbane, Access Constructions were awarded the design and construction contract to complete a brand new purpose built office and warehouse facility in Notting Hill for their distribution of carpet and new head office being relocated from their existing site in Glen Waverley.
The project was delivered alongside architect / project management firm FMSA seamlessly which was rewarded with another contract for a second Victorian warehouse & office.
Even though the site was on a large allotment, the build was challenging due it being built to the boundary and the large basement excavation. Due to the building occupying a large portion of the land space for essential services was tight, therefore the sprinkler tank is located in the basement in a purpose built fire sprinkler storage tank. Further to this was the construction of a warehouse (part over hanging the basement) along with a generous two storey office.
